While still well on her journey as an emerging artist and performer, Sophie has already achieved major milestones that are the envy of the industry. After training from a young age under Bernadette Langshaw-Clark and Newtown High School of the Performing Arts, Sophie hit the Australian scene as a commercial dancer and model where she has also appeared in various television and print advertising campaigns including DANCEtrain Magazine, Chase Bank, Subway and One Night In Mexico TVC’s. From there, Sophie landed a coveted role in the ensemble of performers in Baz Lurhmann’s film The Great Gatsby. Her favourite performance to date would be dancing with The Rockettes at the 71st Annual Tony Awards at Radio City Music Hall in 2017. Most recently she danced at the 40th Anniversary Mardi Gras with international icon Cher and appeared on Channel 7’s The Morning Show and 20th Century Fox’s Greatest Showman Tutorial with Shannon Holtzapffel.
Sophie is thrilled to spend her off-seasons choreographing and sharing her passion and knowledge for the performing arts with children and young adults in all genres of dance.
